‘Garbage’ spotted on Montreal Transit Shelters

September 8, 2016

In an effort to create more awareness around public cleanliness, the City of Montreal and Quebecor converted key transit shelters in the downtown core with some unconventional décor, including a giant pile of dog feces, old furniture, cigarette butts and fast food trash all to make citizens more aware of their responsibility to eliminate waste. The message on each shelter was “Tes objets encombrants c’est genant” (‘Your bulky clutter is annoying”).
